After the physical separation, waste printed circuit board could be made into metals and nonmetals separated. The percentage of metals is about 40%, the major part is copper, with gold, aluminum, nickel, lead, silicon, etc. The metals could be directly sold to metal refining plant for further extraction to get copper, gold and other metals separated, then used in metallurgy industry. Especially copper, it’s widely used in electric carbon industry, metal painting and conductor rubber industry. The nonmetals include glass fiber and resin, which could be used as fiber reinforced material or packing, or could be used for making wood-plastic panels. And the dust collected from the separation process could be reused for construction material.
